Anderson Gets His Work Permit
July 1, 2007 by Keith
Anderson has finally received his work permit. This should put the seal on his £17 million move from FC Porto. The initial application was rejected due to the 19-year olds lack of international appearances (what do they expect for such a young Brazilian player?) but Anderson made his debut for Brazil in the Copa America the other night.
I was really looking forward to seeing him play for Brazil (have a look at this video clip and you won’t be disappointed), and he came on as a half time substitute against Mexico. Surprisingly, Brazil lost 2-0 but Anderson looked a class act, showing a few flashes of top skill and I can’t wait to see him in a red shirt at Old Trafford.
